Block Captains are the association's liaison for their immediate neighbors. Their responsibilities include:

Disseminating Information

Gather information provided at the General Meetings and through Board communications and ensuring these reach all neighbors. This includes notifying neighbors of upcoming events, elections and noteworthy city meetings.

Encouraging Social Activities

What a great excuse to take turns hosting each other to discuss concerns on your block, welcome new neighbors or celebrate successes in the neighborhood.

Welcoming New Neighbors

New residents often don't know about the association, this website and the benefits and responsibilities around living in an Historic Neighborhood.

Maintaining a Watchful Eye

While we try to maintain a great neighborhood to live in, we also need to ensure we are in compliance to the city and historic ordinances. Block captains help educate their neighbors to avoid Code Violations.
