171-173 NE 42ND ST

This is your opportunity to join the rest of the neighborhood and the developer in understanding what is being proposed at the above addresses and vote on whether the neighborhood supports the change of zoning for the current T3-0 (Sub-Urban Zone) to CS (Civic Space Zone - a zone with mainly outdoor area dedicated for functioning for community purposes).  The proposed park will sit above the entrance to underground parking at 171-173 NE 42ND ST.

INFORMATION & LINKS

The parcels are either part of the Design District SAP or the Buena Vista Historic neighborhoods. The built portion on 4200 NE 2ND AV is as-of-right and no variances or waivers are sought at this point.  Height will not exceed 3 stories and 40’ and use will be retail/office.   The rear pocket park parcel for which the city will initiate a rezoning from T-3 to CS will be voted on during this meeting.  The pocket park, will operate as a regular city park but be maintained by the project.  Lionheart has purchase this parcel and will deed it for use as a Public Park.
